Mould Treatment – Bay Window & Bedroom, Northfield

Condensation had caused persistent mould growth to the lounge bay window ceiling and around a bedroom window reveal, where the plaster had also cracked and blown away from the frame. We carried out a two-stage mould treatment to all affected ceiling and wall areas, removed the loose and defective plaster, repaired the cracks and sanded everything back ready for decoration. A stain-blocking primer was applied where needed, then the affected areas were redecorated using specialist anti-mould paint. Surrounding areas were protected throughout and all waste was removed on completion.
